This is a little fix I made for our kitchen lamp, which originally was held in place by double side tape. Due the moister it fell off frequently. That's over now since I got a 3D printer. :D
Requirements:
One flat head screw per side to mount the holder from below to a kitchen cabinet or onto a wall. Once fixed it takes a little force to get the lamp in as the screw head is bulking in a little. However once it is in place it sits rock stable in position.
I probably could have done the mount base thicker, so the screw would not be in the way, but that would have made the thing more massive and would lower the lamp. No one complained about the current fix, so it is fine for me :D
Probably not the best design, but this is my very first project done with FreeCAD in about a hour, while learning its basic functions.
The FreeCAD source file is included so anyone can adapt to different lamp sizes if needed. Probably not the best, but I am still a beginner.
Happy Printing!
Update: It is end of 2024 now and FreeCAD evolved quite a bit. My FreeCAD skills also improved over time, so I revisited this project and reworked the design.
