Ricoh GR III/x Filter Mount

This printable ring is designed to hold the glass from a 43mm Tiffen GlimmerGlass 1 filter. Any 43mm filter glass should work, unless it's thicker than the Tiffen GG 1.

The glass is taped inside this ring, and then the ring+glass assembly is taped to the face of the GR lens barrel. The ring stays attached to the camera, but can be removed nondestructively. To remove the ring, carefully run dental floss between the ring and lens barrel face.

The tape must be very thin and very sticky. I used transfer tape – I think something like this product should work, but I haven't tested it.

To use this ring, the glass must first be removed from the filter ring it comes in.

To remove the glass from the filter ring, I used this lens opener. But these rubber openers might work, too – or any high-friction material that lets you apply pressure to the ring but not the glass.

I have printed this part using the 0.07 “ultra detail” setting in PrusaSlicer on my Prusa MINI+. The part is so small that it doesn't take long even with these settings.
