Three Piece Star Puzzle

This is a three piece puzzle that can be made into a somewhat star shape. The pieces are aligned in three different axis and look like they are going through each other. This style of puzzle is fairly popular and has been done many different ways and with many different materials. I recently made a set out of aluminum and loved it so much that I wanted to design and 3D print my own version. 

This version has 45 degree chamfers along all edges and comes in two different sets. The first one is the standard version which has very tight tolerances. The tighter the tolerances, the better the illusion. The second one has looser tolerances incase you run into any issues. You can also scale it up if need be to increase the tolerances further. 

This is a great little gift or just a desk toy if you like. Once you figure out how to put it together, its a great time showing it to family and friends and seeing if they can do it too.
