(Updated V3) M42 Sony E Mount Adapter

Update (12/30/22): I've been using an updated version 3 for a few months now and I think I'm mostly satisfied with the newest version. The newest version has rotated the threads so that focus markings on lenses better line up with the camera body (In line with the top). I started printing every project in PETG so I'm not sure if that will affect PLA prints in terms of tolerances so I will leave the version 2 file here if there are any issues. I have also included the Meshmixer file.

Please Note: When slicing with Cura 4.x,please check if the threads are sliced properly, it should slice as a spinning circle when previewing up and down layers if they don't do that then try updating to Cura 5.

Original description:

Following a comment from the original post I put this into MeshMixer and modified the total height of the model to 31.5mm so that it will allow infinity focus on my A6300. I initially changed the z scale like the comment suggested but found that the smaller dimensions on the mount made it so that when attached to the camera the 3 mounting fingers would bend as well as being about 1 layer thinner. This model shouldn't have that problem. Sanding and cleanup may be required on the inside because where I cut the model it leaves a weird ridge.

That index hole/mark as I found out is set for thebottom of the lens andNOT the normal index mark of the camera for those who also made this adapter and couldn't figure that out initially, like me lol(Turns out I'm a dummy and this is just the hole for the lens retaining pin hahaha)

The lens I used is a Vivitar 200mm F3.5 Komine made and as far as I could tell I can focus to infinity with this adapter. Your milage may vary depending on the lens you are using. I have a sample size of 1 lol

Printed with the M42 side on the bottom with supports under the sony mount. I filed a little but of the sloped edges on each mounting finger to make it easier for the mount to turn.
