This is a simple lock ring that snaps in between the gap in the barrel extension that keeps the lens locked at 180mm and prevents any creep from happening.

Please note that this is for the original version of the lens, meaning NOT THE G2. I do not have the G2 therefore I cannot verify that the extension length, barrel diameter, or the design is compatible.

Print with any .2 or .3 mm setting.

The part shown in the picture is printed in PETG.

V1: Original Design but the cutout isn't really big enough to slot in without breaking a couple of inner walls.

V2: Updated design with a much bigger gap to allow the part to snap onto the lens better.

I used 3+ walls to make the entire part just the outer and inner walls. Printed so that the curves are on the x and y axes.
