Edit 12/17/2022: Tape based solution failed extremely fast at around ~5 months same failure mode as last time, “snow” and audio clicking and display cutouts. It created too much strain on the joint on the back of the headset and failed early. Made this again and have been using since. The clip on the back broke and when i went to 3D print it again it didn't fit so I have made some slight changes to the clip. Here's to hoping for another 6 months of cable use without fail. Note the spring has not been changed but since the fusion file is a mess it might have slightly been altered. Also I have secured the cable to the clip and not to the top part of the headset to create less of a strain point where the headset flips up. This is to hopefully reduce strain on the part since it is a stress point.

Edit 2/24/2022: Current cable started failing 2 weeks ago and I got the new one in today. This cable has lasted basically a year. The only damage on the headset is from the mounting point where the old clip was and from when i pried the new clip off. Cable has no physical marks. Mode of failure was “snow” and audio clicks and most recently full audio / display cutout. Also this cable saver has broken many times along the layer lines and I would suggest to use a slightly flexible filament that has good layer adhesion. As of right now since I dont have any usable filament I am using a tape based solution.

Cable Strain Relief for the index I made after my first cable broke in January 9 2021.  Currently has been nine months without breaking the cable so I believe this is fine to use. However use this at your own risk to property damage.

FOREWARNING. THIS DESIGN HASN'T BEEN TESTED LONG TERM AND MAY CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE CABLE OR HEADSET PLEASE DON'T CRY TO ME ABOUT IT BECAUSE I WILL MOST LIKELY BE CRYING ABOUT IT TOO.

Edit its been a few months and currently i haven't seen any major damage on the cable. I have broken it a few times but its better than the cable breaking. So i would recommend as much infill as possible and maybe making it out of petg or something that has a high ductile strength and can been a little bit without wanting to crack especially along the layer lines.

Cable saver for index. I made this after my cable started going bad. So I made this. Side effect is that it squished the current cable enough to use until the new cable gets here. This should in theory reduce the radius of the cables bends coming from the back of the headset. This should make sure the copper doesn't bend as much on the inside extending the life of the cable. Hopefully. It might just cause thighs to get worse idk. I'll make an update if the new cable goes bad.
