I was looking for an alternative to the Victorinox Secrid wallets because none of them included the cash compartment option along with the SwissCard.

I've put together the remixes of Rioes and Brandon Shelton. I simply did a resize, basically uniting both designs, also readjusting some dimensions that gave me adjustment problems.
The ejection lever needed a little more work to fit into the new design. I highly recommend the long version. Although it has worse integration, it greatly improves the extraction of the cards if they are too tight.

As for the side latches, I have created a completely new model because I have not been able to get any of the ones already created to work well for me. I have designed them using a fine groove perpendicular to the movement. With this I ensure that there is not too much friction and at the same time the cards are well secured. IMPORTANT: It is highly recommended to print this piece on some type of flexible material and a completely horizontal position to achieve the best results. At this point it is difficult to find a similar experience between users due to the small tolerances. It may also be useful to replace them with a piece of velvet ribbon of approximately 0.9-1.0 mm. The original Secrid wallets work with this solution.

Added a gcode in PLA for MK4 in 0.15 for reference.

Please feel free to make suggestions and comments. Gracias.

Updates:

  • 05/16/2024:
Increased ejector length for better card extraction.
Increased the thickness of the front section of the Side Latch for better grip and to prevent cards from "flying away".

Seven Card Slim Wallet

Differences of the remix compared to the original

  • I took as a reference for the cash compartment the box provided by colleague Mr. Rioes. I reduced the height so as not to get a too thick wallet leaving enough space for coins and cash or any other object. I also needed to gain a bit of width, since the SwissCard fits too tightly. I added some small retaining stops to the closure of the lid to secure it. Then I smoothed the contour with the wallet.

  • For the purse part I started from Brandon Shelton's 7-card design. I modified the ejector to accommodate the box and ensure that it is not blocked. I modified the pivots to make assembly easier and safer. I have also created two versions, a standard one and a large one that protrudes from the body but in exchange offers more leverage, very useful with all the cards inside.
