This is a series of parts trays to be used with the Milo CNC. There are a few different styles to choose from within the collection. Each tray has slotted mounting holes so you can adjust them as needed using M5 x 8mm button head screws and drop in M5 nuts onto your aluminum extrusions.
Trays
Tray 1 is for the CNC starter kit that comes with the LDO Milo Kit. I also added additional spaces for two(2) ER16 collet nuts, two(2) additional ER16 collets and four(4) 6mm holes for pins.
Tray 2 has ten(10) ER16 collets in their cases for quick access.
Tray 3 has a mix of four(4) ER16 collets, eight(8) 6mm holes for pins and four(4) spots for ER16 collet nuts.
Tray 4 is made for the DIY 3D Touch Probe in the case, and extra probe tip in th case and two92) soft jaws for the Inception Machines low profile vise.
Table Cover Mounts
I also designed a simple shield which will cover two trays. It is made from simple 6mm clear acrylic. You can rip a stock piece of 300x300mm sheet to 115mm wide using a standard table saw or something similar. Always practice table saw safety if you use this method. The I just attached a piece of 1mm x 5mm foam on the clip ends to help hold the acrylic and minimize vibrations.
You just slip the acrylic into the mounting clips when you are ready to mill. It is also possible to leave it in place and grab most if not all of the tolls you need from below.
Print Settings:
Standard PLA print settings are fine with 25% grid infill. Of course you can use other materials and print settings as needed. The tool slots are slightly oversized to allow for shrinkage when printing so you should be able to print at 100%.
