This is a work in progress only since I have not fully printed it yet, but I have printed everything that needs to fit together and it all works so I am confident it will be OK. I wanted to get this posted in time for Halloween so here it is.
My parents love Halloween but they are also older, and trying hard to stay safe, so this something I designed so let them enjoy the holiday. It is a "candy ladder" which I plan to mount on their door using command strips. It will let the trick-or-treaters grab their candy (with a sign asking them to take only one lol). The slots for candy will be refilled in between when nobody is at the door. We will see how well asking the kids to take only one works, but I think they should have enough candy on hand even if they occasionally get cleaned out by a single Mr. Stealy.
I posted build instructions and a BOM on my site below:

I hung this on a door using 3M Command strips, and for extra support, the "Candy_Skele-4A-HANGER.stl" has a small hole where a nail can be put through, but it may need to be drilled out depending on the nail.
Finally, I was initially planning to have this hold about a dozen treats, but after printing it, I have decided to split it into two due to the weight (will print another skull and sign). Having two of them will mean both will be lighter, and I can mount one lower and one higher. I don't think it would be a good idea make it too long, since that will increase the weight. I'm limiting mine to holding 6 treats. I also glued the LED's in and put some duct tape over the battery compartment to keep everything together, maybe velcro tape would be better to hold the battery but I did not have any handy.
Update 10/26/2022 - I know I should have put "Ricky T Bones" on the tombstone, so I fixed that today, and the current model has “Ricky T. Bones” on the tombstone.
Thanks for looking, and if you like this thing, please like it or download it (which helps to get me closer to my first free spool of Prusament). Or you can check out my site, to see what other projects are in the works.
The STEP file is included for easy remix'in.
