I designed the cup in CAD then split the design into 2 parts. I used Voronator, a free web app, to Voronoizate the walls of the cup. I then used the add part feature in Prusa slicer to put the 2 parts back together. Base is a standard 1x1 gridfinity with holes for magnets.
Printed in PLA with a 0.4 mm nozzle and a variable layer height. I used a layer height of 0.3 mm for the solid base and reduced it to 0.07 mm to get the detail of the Voronoi wall. Bottom layer was set at 0.3 mm. I used Matterhackers' green/blue Quantum filament.
Way too much time and effort for a place to put a couple of pens/pencils but it came out looking pretty cool.
