The CTS comes with a great stand, but I wanted to build the saw into my new workbench so I needed extra attachment clips

When building my new workbench, I wanted to incorporate my CTS Tablesaw, but didn't want to lose the ability to remove it from the bench. So I made some clips similar to those that come on the original stand from the factory. With these, you can mount them to a flat surface, and install your saw. The clips latch it in place pretty well.

Some notes:

  • This is designed for ¼-20 bolts
    • I used ¼-20 threaded inserts on the plywood I mounted the saw to to secure them
  • The feet/alignment posts are essential
    • Before I used these, I broke a fair number of the latches due to setting the saw down on them and the weight breaking them
      • I did reinforce my latches with some metal that I glued to the bottom, but I no longer think that is essential after printing the alignment posts. I didn't see the need to reprint them to replace them to not have the metal.
    • I currently am using 4 of the alignment posts:
      • 2 in the front
      • 1 in the rear
      • 1 on the right side
  • You will want some washers underneath the latches to help them rotate easily

Printed in PLA. I think I just did 2 perimeters and 20% infill, but 3-4 perimeters would not be a bad plan.

The latches need to be printed vertically (see screenshot) otherwise you'll likely experience layer delamination. The fit of the latches is such that they need to flex when securing the latch, so printing flat side down would cause the layers to delaminate. I used organic supports to reduce the amount of support needed.
