3D Scanned Benchy - Collection

This is what happens to the Benchy (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:763622) when you scan and print it again and again :)

Each scan is done using my open-source 3D Scanner: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3050437 // https://www.openscan.eu/pi-shield?lang=en

Using the Raspberry Pi Camera V2.1 with 8 Megapixel to create 288 photos of each print. The photos then get reconstructed in Reality Capture (Photogrammetry Software). The results usually have 10-30Mio polygons and need to be reduced to 1 Mio. polygons...

I will continue this experiment, till the Benchy is not recognizable any more ;) (At the beginning, I thought, that this might take 10-20 iterations and now I seem to have to do a couple more ...).

I am taking bets, when the shape is not recognizable any more ... --> comment :)

At my current rate of 1-3 iterations a day, I will try to upload at least one new model every week.
