I designed this spray booth for use in my model building studio, where I do a lot of airbrushing. It uses an inline vent fan with 4 inch hose to extract paint fumes and two 12 inch square furnace filters to capture paint particles.

In order to build the configuration pictured in the photo, you'll need to print the following:

  • Air chamber (x2)
  • Corner
  • Vent Plate
  • Clip (x4)
  • Lid (x2, one of them mirrored)

In addition, you'll need the following hardware:

  • M3 heat set inserts (x24)
  • M3x10 screws (x16)
  • 6mm diameter magnets (x32)

Assembly instructions and a discussion of the booth's design and features are in this video on my YouTube channel. If you like the project, I'd appreciate a like on the video as well.

If you're interested in the exact LED lights and extraction fan that I'm using, here are those items on Amazon.

For the furnace filters, I've found the most cost effective solution is just to buy the cheapest 10-pack of 12 inch square filters from my local home improvement store.
