Voigtlander 35mm F1.5 Nokton Leica M lens - hood mount protector ring 39mm

Hood mount protector ring for Voigtlander 35mm F1.5 Nokton Leica M mount lens.

This protector ring is providing following features:

• completely covering shiny chrome ring making lens all black and more discrete
• protecting hood mount petals from accidental hits when hood is not in use
• has sleek minimalistic design to minimize rangefinder obstruction
• is easily mounting on with clockwise rotation like mounting on lens hood
• has 41mm inner diameter allowing 39mm filter to be mounted on lens

I'll be working on designing similar protector rings for other Voigtlander Leica M mount lenses, though other lenses are typically having much wider chrome hood mount ring.

UPDATE(2024-09-19) : Added “V4_flat” model that had more narrow outer edges and is better option for:

• Voigtlander 21mm F3.5 Color-Skopar
• Voigtlander 28mm F2 Ultron
• Voigtlander 35mm F2 Ultron
• Voigtlander 50mm F2 Heliar

Set 6 wall lines, no support, no raft.

WARNING: make first layer width 100% (default is often 125%), otherwise you'll have to cut excessive material on inner edge preventing ring to be mounted. Outer edge will be otherwise sharp and may cut your skin when mounting ring.
