Hey y'all. I'm back at it again with another succulent planter. Surprise!
This time I was inspired to incorporate a simple cascading reclaim system for watering. When watering the top plant, any extra water will pour out from the corners into the other pots below.
This isn't a replacement for watering each lower plant individually but helps with efficiency and gives a nice aesthetic flair to any succulent or tiny plant garden. Features all sorts of sacred geometry goodness.
I'm uploading Bambu P1P 3mf files for the PETG, Silk PLA, and standard PLA(+). Most pieces print well at 0.2mm height but the tray looks best with a 0.14mm layer height. The settings included in each 3mf are my preferred settings but feel free to experiment as much as you like. No supports or brims required.
General Settings:
0.4mm Nozzle
0.2mm Layer Height
6% Gyroid Infill
3 Walls
5 Bottom/6 Top solid layers
Assembly is pretty simple. Just slot the two column pieces together then insert into the base and top pot. The fitment should be snug enough to hold without glue. When attaching the top pot, I advise you apply pressure from inside the pot on the center ‘+’ shape to prevent damage.
