Objective    


 

With a partner of your choice, you will recreate your own ghost clip using a software called Solidworks. You and your partner MUST have the same details on the clip that you will create by connecting and communicating with each other step by step.   



 

Constraints  (center-rectangle created from the origin 13 as the height 6 as the width)

  • The sketch must be fully defined when complete.
  • Dimensions should be detailed but efficient.
  • The sketch must contain zero error messages.
  • Demonstrate efficient use of “Construction Lines” / ”Reference Geometry”.
  • Demonstrate efficient use of “Offset Entities”
  • Demonstrate efficient use of “Mirroring”

 

 

 



 

Eyes  

Make a line across the middle for construction starting on the left side and make that 1.75cm  and also make a center line that is 2.75  

 


 

make a circle and smart dimension it to have a radius of 1.15cm


 

Mirror that circle  by using mirror entities and have it adjacent or lined up to the eye on the previous side    

 



 

Triangles  

 Make a constraint line 0.75 cm across the top but below the original constraint line 


Start by making an isosceles triangle  by using your line tool and then your going to smart dimension the height 3 cm and the side 1 cm  

 

 


 

 



 

Then, make two more all the same length. After doing it, coping the first three you made and place into the same spot as others.  



 

Bottom arcs 


 

1- Make a vertical construction line on the left side of constraint box  of the  and smart dimension it to make it 2 cm

  

2- Make a horizontal construction line 1 cm from the bottom line of the constraint box


 

3- Make a 3 point arc from the first line created and from the second line

4- Then do the same thing and make 2 more, making them all equal, have them all on the bottom of the contrast box just like the first one . 

 


 

   




 

Mouth 

Next make a construction line 2.25cm from the bottom of the contrast box.


 

Then, from the bottom of the constraint box make a vertical line with a width of 4cm.


 

-Create 2  vertical lines  4.15 cm from the left of the constraint box. 

And then curve the line  and make the distance away from the constraint box 1.24 cm by smart dimensioning it.

And then smart dimension it so the two lines  are 0.55cm away then once you finish that shape to make half of the mouth you could use mirror entities to mirror the other side   




 

Our original length was 5.995 cm  but We changed the length of the mouth to 4.15 cm  to make the mouth size more identical to the model.   





 

We also changed the eyes to 1.15cm because it was originally 1.138 cm but the eyes were a little bigger than the original model 


 

Additionally we added the eyes to be 3 the distance away from the side of the rectangle.It was originally 1.3cm we changed it because we wanted the mouth to be farther apart from the side.
