EasyPill - The Pill Popper.

This product is made to provide an easier way for people with shaky, unsteady or weak hands/fingers to extract pills from foil blister packs.

EasyPill helps push out the pills with more precision and pressure than a finger alone can provide. Unlike similar items that can be found on Printables (for example), it is a lot less clunky and harder to break.

The version in the two first photos is the newest one (the one that is found in the model files), which has a funnel that makes it harder for pills to fly away. It also features a small indent so that smaller and more brittle pills don't break during extraction.

The last four photos are there to show how to use it, and to show the range of pill-size it can extract. The last five photos are not of the version provided in the downloads, the difference between them is that the old version has no funnel, and it has no indent for the pills.

Print instructions
  • PETG or a similar filament is required for its resiliency. PLA will not work.
  • A heated printer bed is highly recommended because you have to give the thin part (between the base and the pill extraction part with the logo) a bend when it's warm. I myself carefully take it off of the bed after half a minute has passed since the print is done, at that point it is around 70-something degrees Celsius.
  • Photo three shows the approximate angle that it should have.
  • I print it with supports on the indent at the end of the middle part, nowhere else.
