Do you have the kind of 6-seater dining table that, like a robot in disguise can transform into an 8 seater table?  One day did someone carelessly sit on one of the ends of the table, causing half the table to come crashing to the floor narrowly missing injury.   Of course you put the table back together but now that the guides snapped you can't extend the table.  Your partner wants to hold a dinner party for 8 but your table will only seat 6.  You will be forced to sit on the “kids table” unless you can fix the guide on the dining table!!

Fear not!  You can fix the dining table and once again show your partner how 3D printing is useful!  I hope this guide fits your table, it worked on mine.  If not feel free to adjust the values in the python file and re-run it (it uses build123d).

I printed this with 3 perimeters and 50% infill except for in the thin top parts and the screw hole where I used 80% infill.  It seems strong enough but we aren't planning our dinner party until mid July..  Good luck.
