When you have a tool and a component breaks, it can slow down your entire project. Even if the part is inexpensive, if you are ordering the part you still have to wait for it to be delivered.
My 10" Ryobi Drill Press (DP103L) Depth Adjustment Bracket (089140314072) broke - someone kept pushing against the depth stop and blew out the bottom ring. As Tool Parts Direct advertises this as a "Best Seller", I feel safe in assuming I'm not the only one one to run into the same problem.
