I had a particular use case. The doorbell was on the hinge side of the outer glass door and the frame was only 23mm wide. None of the other mounts would work so I decided to try to design my own.
The mount needed to also lean away from the door otherwise the door hits the doorbell when it's opened.
Requires M3 heat inserts for the doorbell base and uses the wood screws included with the doorbell to secure the mount to the doorframe.
The final installed version was printed in ASA without supports. The blue version is my final prototype, printed in PLA.
Final version printed with 4 wall loops for strength for the threaded heat inserts.
