Corner protector for tables and paintings (parametric)

Originally created for an artist friend to protect the sharp corners of painting frames during transport. These corners are easily damaged by couriers. Also used to ‘soften’ the impact and bodily harm from glass table-top corners when humans bump into them.  

The protector widens inside towards the tip, leaving free space, to prevent picture frame damage during bumps on the corner.

This protector has flanges on top and bottom sides, so it must be made to fit the thickness of the frame or table top. 

The build123d script is included, this should enable you to make any required size.

A number of STLs are provided: protector-{framethickness}-{outerlength}.stl. Sizes given:
