Wormhole Lamp

The Wormhole Lamp is an ideal gift for anyone interested in design, science, or simply something extraordinary. 

It creates a very cool effect when moving the light up and down. Somehow it reminds me of a wormhole so i called it like that.

Every part is printable without supports.

Minimum build volume 130x130x130mm.

Parts & Know-How

Electronics:

• 1x 2835 LED SMD (white) - You can desolder one from a white LED light strip or buy a single LED. 
• 1x Omron D2FC microswitch - You can salvage one from an old mouse or purchase new. 
• Copper wire (24AWG or thinner) - This will be used for connections. 
• 2x AAA batteries - Power source for the LED. 
• 6x Strong neodymium magnets (6mm x 3mm) - These act as switch. 

Tools: 

• Soldering iron & solder - To connect the electronic components.
•  Wire strippers - To remove insulation from the wire.
•  Cutting pliers - To cut wires to size. 

Other Materials:

•  Glue - For securing components in place. 
•  Aluminium foil 

Knowledge: 

• Basic Electronics, very simple.
