An M-Lok rail mountable hand stop / finger stop for your rifle's handguard. Improves front hand grip on the handguard, helping with stability during firing. Suitable for airsoft rifles and probably actual rifles as well.

You will need two M-Lok screws and T-slot nuts (e.g. the official replacement screws available from Magpul) to attach. Designed for an imperial #10-24 button head hex cap screw (with 1⁄8" hex key spanner), but can probably work with similar metric sizes of screws and nuts.

Recommended printing instructions:

  • Print with PETG, ASA, ABS or anything with reasonable strength and UV / heat resistance.
  • Use 0.2 mm or 0.3 mm layer height; You can print with a 0.6 nozzle, but might find it harder to get the M-Lok nuts to tighten given the small tolerance of the nut clamps)
  • Print upright (with the nut clamps at the top), with no supports. The model includes a thin (0.2 mm) sacrificial layer for supporting the screw holes. This layer can be removed or punched through and cleaned when assembling
  • Use 4 perimeters and 25% infill for strength

When assembling, punch through the sacrifical support layer in the screw holes and clean any plastic burs remaining, then screw on the t-slot nuts loosely (so the screws can still freely turn), then insert and tighten. Getting the t-slot nuts to stick after a quarter turn might require multiple attempts, but the screws should eventually grip the rail tightly. Do not over-tighten.
