This is print is designed to mount a Netatmo Outdoor module and a generic 433MHz cheap temperature sensor on a pole. It also includes two “radiation shields” which protect the sensors from direct sunlight, but allow air to flow through freely.

This is way better than just placing the sensors on the (usually) north side of your house to keep them in the shade since then they are also effected by the heat capacity of your house. Personally I have these on a roof garden type area to not be too much of an eyesore, but I don't think they look half bad. You could also mount them on a regular roof, but the general height of the ground will effect readings a bit and the heat might reflect off traditional roof tiles.

I have had this setup for nearly a year printed in white Prusament PETG and it works great*, my readings are very close to the weather reports or a nearby official station, so I can call this a great success, but ofcourse the fact that it's close kind of also makes it pointless, but it's a fun project. :)

There is also a Netatmo only mount for a 10x10mm stick that I was using previously included in the files. It is also designed to accommodate the radiation shield.

*the little bit of damage you can see is from it being mounted a bit closer to a patch of grass and me knocking it over with the back end of a mower tractor.

Makes with photos welcome!

Print instructions

The shields should be printed laying on the flat back, the Netatmo one with the round inside can be printed without supports whereas my 433MHz sensor is a bit too wide and so the design has slits inside, which do require supports. Both of the mounts are completely fine without supports.
