- intended to be a press fit with a generic 6 mm shank
- in this case for version 1, a carbon steel linear shaft was ground to a flat to form a custom chisel, leaving a 40 mm long shank
Version 1 dimensions
- made this for a coworker
- he intended the taper on the handle to serve as a friction fit for a future cap to protect the tool, but that hasn't been designed yet
- can be printed without supports with a small overhang at the base of the hole
- I recommend 20+% supports, either grid or triangles pattern
- 3+ walls for more strength & to allow for reaming the bore to dial in the fit with the tool
