Designed to fit a 19mm steel curtain rod (https://www.bunnings.com.au/sandleford-19-x-2400mm-chrome-tube-rod_p4821925), I designed this as a bit of a labelling system to be easily usable and expandable.

It starts with the holder and end cap. The holder fits snuggly on the 19mm rod and depending on your printing tolerances, should stay in place very well. For a slightly tighter fit, simply paint the rod. But I have found this to not be necessary. The holder is also designed to fit fairly tight between the edges of each spool. I have only tried this with Bambu, Sunlu and eSun filaments, which all work well, but your milage may vary. This should be printed in PETG to avoid expansion etc, as these are very tightly fitted. It can be printed with a .4 nozzle and no supports are required (just be sure to orient correctly)

Then the Labels are designed to fit in groups of 4.

-Type (PLA, PETG, ABS, etc)

-Brand

-Colour

-Special (Metal, Glow, Dual Colour, Thermal, Etc)

I found this to be the right amount to have a good amount of information on each spool. The labels are designed to be printed with an AMS, but you could easily either pause and change filaments at the right layer, or simply print in white and use a Sharpie to colour the letters.

I am able to print 60+ labels at a time on my X1 Bed. Be sure to use a .2 Nozzle to print the labels as the writing is quite fine.
