A simple 90° rod holder to build cubic or prismatic boxes. Optimized for the FDM process to get constant wall thickness. This will result in a better surface finish and reduces the travel moves across the model, lowering the print time.

From what I saw online, the main diameters for rods are 8, 10, 12mm. If you need a different measure, just drop a comment and I will get back to you as soon as I can. Since usually, in particular with wood rods or cheap carbon fiber ones, the dimensions are not perfect, I uploaded a series of values around the nominal diameter to account for this. Remember that you can always scale the model (UNIFORMLY to avoid shape distortions) to fit your specific rod.

The model should be printed in the orientation you see in the pictures to avoid problems related to cooling.

This model is very simple and is unable to account for slightly different rod lengths. If I see interest I will implement it in the next revision.
