Minimalistic replacement for the tiny piece of plastic that holds each earcup of Audio Technica ATH-M50X headphones in place.

Note: it's more rigid than the original solution, so headphones are not going to fold as nicely anymore. 

What you need is:

  • this part
  • appropriate glue (I used Gorilla Super Glue Gel)

You can use sandpaper to scuff the surface a bit before gluing. Wait 24h before trying it out, it needs to bond well.

Note: use at your own risk. I can't guarantee that it will hold in place and won't break after a while.

Worked well for me in PLA with 0.10mm layer height and 100% rectilinear infill.
