Do you have too many soft storage cubes and not enough drawers? Well have I got the solution for you! Introducing the Storage Cube Drawer System! This is a skeletal frame that you insert into a standard 10.5x10.5x11" fabric storage cube which allows you to turn in into almost a mini bureau of sorts. Pretty sick huh?
Assembly:
The drawer system comes in five parts: the frame, the drawers, top braces, and the handle/nut. Everything is fairly self-explanatory to assemble but the braces are to hold the side walls straight up as they tend to lean outwards otherwise. I put one in the front and one in the back but you may be able to get away with just one in the middle.

I also recommend adding a couple thumbtacks to the front two corners to keep the frame from coming out of the storage cube when you open drawers.

Printing tips:
Everything can be printed exactly as oriented in the files with no supports needed. The only tricky part is the drawers which can curl up on the corners. With decent adhesion and a brim, you should be able to print them without too much curling. I had a little on mine but it's possible they could be printed perfectly with some determination (and maybe an enclosed printer).
Regarding filament usage, the whole thing takes about 1.5kg of filament. The three drawers take almost exactly one spool so it's best to use a brand new one to be certain you're not going to run just short on the last drawer.
Be sure to post your makes! If you like the design, please consider tipping on Ko-fi. Thank you! :-)
