Converts your old analogue photo enlarger chassis to a copy stand for your DSLR digital camera.
Inspired by the product “Copy Camera Adapter for LPL 7700 / 670XL Enlargers”, which apparently isn't available to buy anymore (and which was also crazy expensive - USD $160+).
I've designed it for, and tested it on, the LPL 7700 series. It should also work on the 670XL series, but I haven't been able to verify this. Please comment, if you can confirm if it fits or not.
Printing instructions
- Print with the cylinder standing upright.
- Layer height: I printed with 0.16mm, but 0.2mm should be fine as well
- Walls: 5
- Infill: 20%, but to avoid that the metal screw from the stand potentially crushes the adapter, make a modifier in the slicer with 100% infill where the screw tightens on the adapter (see attached screenshot). If you use Orca Slicer, you should be able to add the .3mf file instead of the .stl file and have the modifier created automatically.
- If you do not want to or can't use modifiers, consider just printing the whole adapter in 100% infill.
Extra parts needed
- 1 pcs camera mount screw for your camera model
