BMW M54 Valve Spring Compressor

This is a simple valve spring compressor tool I designed for the M54/52 cylinder heads. 

I printed this in Overture PC on a Bambu Lab X1C in draft mode (0.28mm layer height) with 4 perimeters and 100% infill and I recommend using these settings, although I printed one with only 20% infill and it also held up just as well. 

I think PLA and other materials would also be suitable at 100% infill but I haven't tested it. 

V3 is slightly revised from v2 with a 5mm reduction in height and with more clearance to accommodate the cam tray locating rings around the base of the studs in each corner of the head but I haven't tested v3 yet. Edit: v3 confirmed to work, print this instead of v2

Recommended Print Settings:

• 0.28mm layer height
• Supports from build plate only for v3, none for v2
• 4 perimeters
• 100% infill

The washers seen in the photo aren't necessary, at least with PC. I stopped using them after the first pair of valve springs and the tool held up fine.
