Ceramic Style Bowl

Intro

This is a bowl that looks like it was made of ceramic! :-)
Super SMOOOOOOOOTH surface…..

It is a nice looking piece for decoration or to be used to put your keys, wallet or other small things when you are at home…

The magic to create the ceramic effect is done by using “Fuzzy skin” settings (Prusa Slicer, Cura Slicer). This also eliminates all visible seams.

The shape was designed to avoid overhangs so it can be printed without supports to improve the surface further more.

I also made sure to reduce the amount of filament and to reduce print time too by including rather thin walls in the design.

I recommend to use a filament with a neutral/natural color to double the ceramic effect.

There are 3 different sizes available:

• Bowl large: ~14cm diameter

• Bowl medium: ~12cm diameter

• Bowl small: ~10cm diameter

• Fuzzy skin point distance: 0.6mm

• Also: I recommend to use a textured steel sheet print bed to create a nice bottom structure
