This model provides a solution for support brackets on flexible faucet spouts that require replacement inserts. This is a very specific solution but on a quite common flexible faucet spouts design.
Printing:
- Ensure your nozzle isn't clogged for robust printing (a missing line can result in the piece snapping in half when installed)
- PETG is recommended to withstand the heat conductivity of the faucet head metal and prevent deformation (PLA may deform at lower temperatures, while ABS could also be suitable)
- Avoid using infill to maintain flexibility.
- Use mouse ears or the "Tab+ Antiwarping" plugin in Cura for better adhesion
Installation:
- No glue is required
- The part needs to be firmly pressed and passed through the arm before releasing the pressure (this may require significant force; I tested with JAYO and GEEETECH PETG, both of which performed well in regaining their form after installation)
- A small hole on one side serves to indicate the top, as its diameter differs from that of the bottom.
I hope this will help you
