Sure.. the world needed more Raspberry Pi casings… -.-
Well… I needed a compact, mobile ridged platform to develop AI models and gather data.
I was searching online for a good casing that could mount my Pi to something like a tri-pod / mic stand or corner of the room. I also wanted to mount a Pi-camera to it of course and have access to the headers for adding a nice Adafruit O-led to it so I could always see the recording disk space left as well the (DHCP) IP a camera was now available on over wifi.
But as I could not find a nice platform, I decided to spam the web with yet an other case alternative :)
Features
Materials :
Uses M3x20mm bolts
O-Led I use : https://www.adafruit.com/product/3527
Print Instructions :
Enable support from buildplate. Optionally pre-tap the holes with a tap or screw.
You can also screw only one half directly into the Pi-PCB as M3 taps into a Pi-PCB. But for ease I pre-drilled the Pi-holes a tiny bit larger so M3 bolts slides free through it and the casing clamps nicer around the PCB.
Printed with PLA-Semi-Matte black.
Mic Stand mount :
To mount it to a mic-stand I used to following awesome 3D prints from other designers :
