A replacement for the top part of a Stanley Cup (here a non-official one).

There are three versions: the V1 has roughly the same dimensions as the original piece (the one in the photos), the V2 has a slightly improved design on some edges and the V3 is very close to the original design with all the curves and details (as far as I know).

This replacement part is supposed to be used if yours is broken or lost, and should be tight enough on the tumbler.

Keep in mind that the dishwasher could eventually deform it, so I recommend cleaning it by hand.

! WARNING ! Be sure to clean the part thoroughly (even with a very good print, there will be cavities leading to potential sites for bacterial growth, and the aim is to keep the product food safe, even if the contact with food is limited). Reprint occasionally (it's best to change the part from time to time, as it's not a finished product, it has defects and can be unhealthy if bacteria develop despite your precautions)

Printing:

  • Make sure your nozzle isn't clogged (otherwise cavities can appear)
  • Favorize PETG (PLA could be deformed with lower temperatures, PETG is theoretically food-grade and less prone to deformation, ABS is probably just as good, but I don't know enough about it)
  • For best waterproofing of the part, I recommand at least 3 wall lines
  • Use mouse ears to maximize adhesion on corners and ends (I discovered the "Tab+ Antiwarping" plugin on Cura, and it works like a charm)
  • The bottom tip needs supports

Do not hesitate if you have any questions!
