Update 2024/06/15: Added some updated files with better upper geometry for some magwells like Flycore, as well as an option for holes in the mag/cap that help retain the cap. You can use small screws or a piece of filament here.
Update 2024/04/03: added a shortened version that should fit approximately flush in a DZ Dictator. Estimated -5 to capacity of the full size version, so approx 30-35rnds.
Update 2024/03/26: Added STEP files for anyone that might want to torture themselves messing with them. I recommend instead checking out the Thanhlon files this project is based off of if you want more easily functional printable mags.
Possibly the dumbest printed Nerf mag option you could choose to print. Why did I do it? Because people said I really shouldn't and I had too much rainbow filament on hand. It doesn't print the greatest, it works “ok”, it's unwieldy, assembly is awkward, you'll probably hit yourself in the soft bits with it.
Funny meme go brr tho.
Meant to print at a 45deg angle, just use the “Lay on face” option in your slicer and choose the cut portion at the bottom then rotate it corner to corner. It's ~475mm long and needs a 300x300x340 build area like an SV06+ or bigger.
Uses a drum spring like you used to get from Foamblast. To assemble I put the drum spring into the follower, put them into the bottom of the mag, use a long screwdriver to push them to the top, then grab the loop of the spring with tweezers and shove it over the spring perch. It'll probably take a few tries and suck for most of it.
Some heavy silicone oil on most of the follower surfaces before doing this is your best option, otherwise you have to load it enough the follower sticks out the bottom and then add the oil. Has issues fitting into anything that doesn't like Thanhlon/Koda feed lips.
Calculated to hold approx 36 darts, loaded it to 42, so idk.
The author remixed this model.
