New and improved model for HSW

I felt the need for change, so i made this model as a HSW model as well.
You can find that model here:

HSW - Printer tool holder

The Genesis

  • 1.00 - Original concept. Release date: 25st March 2024
  • 1.10 - Added 1 more tool. Resized my needleplier hole, since it kept falling.

The Journey

Inspired by the necessity to optimize workspace efficiency and equipped with an Ender 3 V3 SE, I embarked on a mission to address a common conundrum among fellow 3D printing enthusiasts – the need for a dedicated tool holder. The absence of suitable models in the existing repository propelled me to take matters into my own hands.

The Innovation

Enter the Ender 3 V3 SE Tool Holder – a testament to practicality and ingenuity. With carefully designed slots and compartments, this holder offers a bespoke solution tailored specifically for your printer's tools. The incorporation of gantry supports necessitated a rethink of traditional tool storage, resulting in a design that not only accommodates the essentials but also enhances accessibility and organization.

What Sets It Apart

Crafted with meticulous attention to detail, this holder boasts a user-friendly interface that ensures effortless retrieval and storage of tools. Its low-hanging configuration, while initially limiting in placement, offers unparalleled convenience for those with printers positioned on the edge of surfaces, maximizing both accessibility and functionality.

For Whom Is It Designed

Primarily catering to owners of the Ender 3 V3 SE, this tool holder is a must-have accessory for anyone seeking to streamline their 3D printing setup. Whether you're a seasoned hobbyist or a novice enthusiast, this innovation promises to elevate your printing experience to new heights.

Your Print Settings

Compatible with a wide range of printing parameters, this model is optimized for PLA filament with standard settings. However, feel free to adjust infill, wall thickness, and layer count to suit your preferences and requirements.

How to Install

Installing the Ender 3 V3 SE Tool Holder is a straightforward process designed to ensure a secure and stable fit for your printer's tools. Follow these simple steps to install the holder effectively:

  1. Unclick the Screen: Begin by gently unclicking the screen of your Ender 3 V3 SE. This step will provide access to the lower peg of the screen, where the tool holder will be mounted.
  2. Mount the Holder: With the screen unclicked, position the tool holder onto the lower peg of the screen. Ensure that the holder aligns properly and sits securely on the peg.
  3. Click the Screen Back On: Once the tool holder is in place, carefully click the screen back onto its original position. Due to the tight fit, you may need to apply a bit of pressure to secure the screen in place.½
  4. Confirm Secure Installation: Verify that the tool holder is firmly attached to the lower peg of the screen. The tight squeeze ensures that the holder remains in place even during printing, providing stability and preventing any movement.
