Ender 3 Edge Y Tensioner (For 2040 Extrusion)

V2 Updated Now…!!!

Inital version had a maximum Y travel distance of 225mm with default Y axis limit switch position (Original mount of Ender 3)

V2 has a slightly extended body which accomodates 235mm travel without any issue

Converted my Ender 3 to dual linear rail Y axis with kevinakasam's Y Axis Railmod for Ender 3

This is an alternative Y tensioner for Kevin's Y axis railmod

This tensioner is only for OG Ender 3 with 2040 extrusion on Y axis

Was facing issue with default tensioner present in the Mod (Need a alen key to adjust tension and took away space on Y axis as it mounts like traditional ender 3 tensioner)

Hence created my own tensioner which mounts at the end of the Y Axis extrusion and provides you with better stability and easy adjustment

Also this ensures the belt is parallel to the Y carriage so there is no issue with belt tension varying in the ends

2 x GT2 20T Pulley
2 x M5 X 35 MM Socket Head Cap Bolt and Nut (To Connect Guide to Body)
1 x M5 X 40 MM Hex Head Bolt (Will be used inside guide and will connect to tensioner knob)
1 x M5 Nut (Insert into Tensioner Knob)
2 x M5 X 12 MM (Mounting the Tensioner body to Aluminium Extrusion)
5MM Thread Tap (to tap in the Aluminium extrusion)
