TPU Gear Straps 25mm wide (Molle sizing)

Printed with 0.8 nozzle. Printing with smaller nozzle is ok.

These are straps to attach pouches or gear. I needed this to attach molle compatible pouches to my motorycle crash bars. The straps are 25mm wide.

The straps resist pulling very well and are designed for infrequent fastening and holding gear reliably.

You need to be somewhat careful when fastening the straps to make sure that all of the nubs got fully through the holes. It's easier if you pull strong tension to the strap and then pull it over the nubs.

I did tensile strength testing with luggage scale while strap was attached to a 30mm bar. Pulling from the pull tab hole I got 20kg and some permanent deformations but no break. Pulling from middle of tab I got 40kg with small permanent deformation and no break. Nubs didn't slip in either test.

Features of the 2x2 straps:

• You can extend the straps. They robustly attach to another strap
• 90 degree rotation possible. You can attach strap to another with 90 degree angle
• Pull tab with hole for attaching things. You can attach it to a bar and hang something
• Strap nubs can accommodate two layers of strap

I have also attached my other bonus variations which can have shorter nubs and wider nub spacing so not all features work with those. They are still useful but you need to look at the model yourself to determine if you like it.
