The Huawei E5577 MiFi device that I have came with a 1500mAh battery (HB434666RBC) which last about 3 to 4 hours. To get more airtime, I changed to a 3000mAh battery (HB824666RBC) which boosted the airtime to around 8 to 9 hours. However, the new 3000mAh battery is twice as thick as the 1500mAh one.
For the Huawei E5577 MiFi battery mod from 1500mAh to 3000mAh, I created a new battery cover to accommodate the new thicker battery.
I have also catered a little space to hold two SIM cards which would be great for that extra SIM when travelling. Instead of using tension hold on the SIM cards, I have decided to use double-side tape instead as PLA and PETG does deform to the new shape over time.
The new battery cover should be a snug fit for the Huawei E5577 and fits flushed to the edges of the Huawei E5577 MiFi.
It is designed to be printed without support (as long as your printer can handle 45 degree angles)
