this antenna is meant to be an all in one package for emergency NVIS communication. can also be used for POTA for those local QSO in your skip zone. the goal is quick deployment, lightweight and small size. perfect for people looking into EMCOM.

i use FT50-43 and they are good for 10W SSB and around 5W CW.

Material needed:

• BNC connector
• Banana plug (male and female)
• torroid for the 49:1 transformer
• 68ft of 20ga wire
• solder, glue and various tools

this antenna do not compare with any commercial one ive seen. 

MAXIMUM of 1.5:1 SWR on the four bands, this is without cheating like adding a loading coil or a resistor as some manufacturers do. this is a resonant antenna and doesnt require a tuner.

here my screen is calibrated as so the bottom is 1:1 and the top is 2.5:1.
