This is a marking gauge for steel rulers with stops  at 30°, 45°, 60° and 90°.

It is suitable for a variety of steel rulers with a width from 2 cm to 4 cm wide and a maximum thickness of 1.5mm.

The steel ruler is held in place by a large threaded bolt which is manually operated by a knob.

When tightening the threaded bolt, make sure that the ruler is in full contact with the guide rail on one side.

I used PLA for printing. Due to the threads, the layer height  should not exceed 0.2 mm.

The model prints without general support, although there are 8 hand-designed supports that must be removed after printing.

Use a sharp cutting knife to carefully remove the supports, making sure there are no support parts left in the gauge.

The threaded bolt can be somewhat stiff when first screwed in, especially in the lower area.

This can be changed by turning the threaded bolt forwards and backwards several times at the stiff points.
