Hello Fellow Creators

FIXDRY double dryerbox is fine. Using it I have found a couple elements missing I designed for usability and my comfort. Feel free to refer to those ideas, I hope you find them useful.

  1. Handle: this is the weakest element of the model. You need to lift the cover with both hands, and it's tight fit. I have designed two models
    1. Short fit to be glued
      • one print e2e
      • 2 sided glue tape but eventually it wear out if used often
    2. Long fit to be attached by screws via vent holes (in use)
      • 3 part design to fit in regular print bed
      • Connected with M3 screws 30cm long (40cm would work too)
      • Connected through mid vent block with washer and M4 screw (20cm min)
  2. Vent block: Once air is dry (<30%), and the chamber is hot, it takes only a few hours for air inside the chamber to equalize with the surrounding. With vent blocks, and filament tubes, air remains to be below 50% for days. There are 2 vents types guards:
    1. Pins: just to plug them in filament vents/holes -tight fit, easy to push and pull back. Quick to print. I never take them out. Filament holes that I use have tubes.
    2. Main, top one. Crude solution, but works best. Just put on top of it, and it's done. Quick to remove when heating/drying is on. REMEMBER: never block vents when device is on, refer to the device manual and use device accordingly

Disclaimer: This design has been prepared for my use only, and is shared as a reference point. For any device use refer to the manual.
