Introduction:

I use openHASP at several wall switch locations in my home for scene, light and appliance control via Home Assistant.  I find it cumbersome to touch the 2.4 inch ILI9341 touchscreen at the correct spot, and I am sure I am not alone.  I was considering re-designing my wall plates to also include mechanical switches on the side of the screen, but came up with this solution instead.  It works great!

Printing:

I use PETG filament with 0.2mm layers.   I switch filament colors at 4mm which is where the actual buttons begin.

Installation and Use:

This addon clips into the wall plate just between the touchscreen and the plastic plate.  It acts as a tactile switch without interfering with the operation of the touch screen.   When programming the openHASP screen, I generally use four horizontal buttons per page as seen in the below photo.
