Model Rocket Nosecone and Electronics Bay for IPL's Powerslide Fincan - High Power Rocket

Introduction

This is a nosecone and internal ebay designed to pair with IPL's PowerSlide fincan.  The ebay sled also originates from IPL, but has been heavily modified to fit in this nosecone, and should be able to accommodate most electronic flight computers, including the Eggtimer Quasar.

The nosecone sits at just under 300mm (299.192) and is a seamless fit when using LOC Precision 54mm Motor Mount Tubing.  I printed mine in PETG 100% infill to help offset the weight of the fincan and for strength.

I plan to fly this with dual deployment, and will be designing a mid-body ebay.  I have included a nosecone cap so you can close off the nosecone and come up with other ebay solutions, use motor ejection, or run a GPS tracker in the nose, and a flight computer in the mid-body ebay.  You have a few options.

• Nosecone - Inspired by Estes Power Series style.  It has plenty of room to house a couple altimeters with batteries
• Ebay - Elongated a bit from the original and has strap holes in it to get velcro/zip ties around your precious flight computers
• Nosecone cap - for those times you just need a nosecone without the extra weight of the ebay sled.
