Both of these two models can serve as a drop-in replacement for the Flashforge injection molded camera mount, which is stock on the AD5M Pro, and can be ordered from Flashforge's website for use on the AD5M (non pro version).
One of the two mounts has the same camera placement as the injection molded mount from Flashforge. It's basically a way to replace yours if it's lost or broken somehow, but only for AD5M printers that don't have the DIY enclosure or AD5M Pro.
The other one is helpful for those AD5M users who have printed and installed the DIY enclosure that's touted by Flashforge. For this use, a major issue is that the camera's USB cable is too short to reach the new higher location of the LCD touchscreen. My design here extends the camera mount upward. It allows the camera's USB cable to reach the LCD with the DIY enclosure.
Flashforge's pricing is quite reasonable (currently $25) for the camera set (camera, USB cable, injection molded mount, and screw). It seems that the camera itself is not made by Flashforge, but rather sourced by them. In theory the camera could be bought elsewhere, such as here, but…. Would you be required to buy a batch? Would you get a USB cable with it? If so, would the connectors be the right denomination, and would its length be right? And would it really save you any money?
Nevertheless, I'm including here my modeling work that's a drop-in replacement for the injection molded mount, just in case it helps someone. But the essential part of this listing is my design for an extended mount, that lifts the camera up as high as possible — just high enough for the provided USB cable to be long enough to work for AD5M with the DIY printed enclosure installed.
These parts print as oriented, with no supports needed. For the drop-in replacement, no supports is assuming your printer can do modest bridging. For that one, it may need tree supports if your printer cannot do bridging well.
To get the short cable installed with the DIY enclosure, the order matters:
As you watch this install video from Flashforge, consider the above notes. You would be doing the same things, but in a slightly different order:
