About the design
My Flashforge 5M Pro needed a better spool holder, so I designed this one specifically to handle the various filament spool widths, and spool types. The cardboard spools were dragging on the original spool holder and some of my spools are constructed of a continuous center tube. I created this spool holder to allow anyone to use their own height of bearing-block insert in the spool arm. The provided spool block holds 4 bearings which accommodates most brands of 1kg spools.
If you are using filament on cardboard spools, you may wish to print my cardboard spool inserts to make them roll more easily, and prevent cardboard dust from accumulating. https://www.printables.com/model/1217745-cardboard-filament-spool-insert
To accommodate even wider filament spools, please check out my larger 8cm, 6-bearing version of the smooth rolling spool holder on Printables.com

Printing Instructions
Print the bearing block laying down on the print bed. Use TREE supports as they will remove more easily.
The bearing block should easily slide into the filament arm, and remove just as easily.
*the pry-hole in the top of the bearing block is there to make it simple to remove the block from the spool holder body.
