Working with @BadLuck_423300, here is the newest version of the Luck Maker!

Introducing the “Luck Maker 2.0,” a PLA 3D printed drone claw that embodies innovation and user-friendly design.

  • Material: Crafted from PLA plastic, printed with 40% infill, and .12mm layer height.
  • Original Assembly: Initially designed to be assembled with M3 hardware, providing a sturdy and reliable build.
  • Innovative Redesign: Now reimagined with integrated 3D printed snaps, the claw parts seamlessly click together, offering a hardware-free, efficient assembly experience.
  • Activation Issue: The original model required a certain amount of force to activate, which has been thoughtfully addressed in the redesign.
  • Enhanced Activation: The new model boasts an improved activation mechanism that is effortless to engage, ensuring a smooth and “Mavic friendly” operation.

The “Luck Maker 2.0” is a marvel of 3D printing technology, combining practicality with cutting-edge design to deliver a top-tier accessory for drone enthusiasts.

Print the parts (2 of the hooks) and assemble as pictured.

The activation mechanism assembly take a little finesse:

Insert the cylinder catch on the slider from the hook side and then insert the hook side into the drop-claw-strip-gear-hole's top hold, rotating it around until it is in the correct orientation. Next, slightly bend the bottom of the slider to insert into the bottom hold.

Watch out, Minnesota, BadLuck’s coming home to rip some quads with Northern Flow, and we will be ready to spin the wheel of fortune with our ‘Luck Maker 2.0’—because who needs luck when you’ve got mad skills, and a sense of humor? 🎲😄
