After deciding to change my OctoPrint box to a Pi 3B+ with POE+ HAT, I appreciated finding that OzRocky had made a case that would fit this purpose for me. However, the included mount required some changes to work on the printer frame.
The push-in fit is the same, but with screw holes to attach to the usual place on top of the controller board case. It sits a little lower than some other Pi mountings, but there is still room for the network and USB plugs.
Two M3x12 cap screws are enough, but there are three holes for a choice of whichever threads on the frame to secure to.
It helps to check your printer is calibrated for XY size and flow to ensure the fit between case and mount is accurate.
Any normal filament should be OK, but best avoid PLA if using an enclosure. Orange or black PETG is a good choice if saying on-theme with the original Prusa i3.
0.4mm nozzle, 0.2mm or 0.25mm layers will do.
