Creality Space Pi is a nice filament dryer. However, there is one major flaw (similar to some other dryers, like Sunlu S2) - it does not vent out the humid air. This traps humid air inside the dryer, making it hard if not impossible to actually dry a wet filament. (I found this video which shows the issue.)
This spacer creates a small gap (~2 mm) between the lid and the case, which, according to my measurements, is sufficient for continuous release of the trapped humidity. Larger vent would cause too much heat to be released, unnecessarily increasing the dryer power consumption.
The spacer is made to nicely fit at the top of case, where it keeps itself securely attached - but could be also easily removed.
